About ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana Essential Training and Workshop

Elasticsearch is a NOSQL, distributed full text database. Which means that this database is document based instead of using tables or schema, we use documents… lots and lots of documents. The project was started in 2010 by Shay Banon. Shay wanted to create a storage and search engine that would be easy to operate. Elasticsearch is based on the Lucene engine on top of which Shay added an http rest interface which resulted in a distributed search engine that is incredibly easy to scale and returns results at lightning speed.

scmGalaxy is a quality organization of ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana courses, training and certification. Our ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana trainers and counsellors are highly educated with more than 15 years of rich experience in the Software industry. DevOps! Which has captured a remarkable position in the IT world and has become a prime part of software engineering methodology. In order to upgrade the software quality, reducing cost and increased the agility for faster release, DevOps and ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana is playing very prime role thus finding the quality ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana trainers and training vendor is very much important. Our ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana courses are designed in certain method where participants can get benefits with more content in less span of time. scmGalaxy provide their services in terms of ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana training and courses online and classroom in India and abroad. Course Objective & What You'll Learn

The workshop covers real-world data sets and instructors work with the participants to ingest, search, and visualize them. This includes an Elasticsearch overview, Logstash configuration, creation of dashboards in Kibana, how to process logs, recommended architecture for designing a system to scale, choosing hardware, and managing the life cycle of your logs.

Why one should develop expertise in ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana

Knowing the current and historical status of systems and applications within your company is incredibly important. More so as the number of discrete servers become more and more numerous. Your company may employ dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of hardware-based, virtualized, or containerized servers. Keeping track of that many systems is a monumental task. I'm going to show you how to do it effectively using free software. Now, first things first, what is the Elastic Stack? The Elastic Stack is a suite of tools developed by the Elastic company, best known for the distributed NoSQL document database Elasticsearch. Elasticsearch provides the primary underpinnings of everything that's possible when using other Elastic tools such as Logstash, Kibana, the Beats utilities, and many more. Elasticsearch is free and open source, and can be used for a variety of storage needs, especially when fast, full-text searching is required. Previously, you may have heard some of these tools referred to as the ELK Stack, which stands for Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana respectively. Now that the Elastic company has expanded the range of tools that fall under the Elastic umbrella, they clearly needed a new name, and that's when the Elastic Stack designation was born. The Elastic company offers two primary ways to use their tools, either through a cloud-hosted option, or a self-hosted, on-premise option. This course will talk about using the Elastic Stack fully on-premise. Elasticsearch itself can actually be used for many different general purposes. It's an incredibly scalable document database with built-in search, aggregation, and sharding functionality. It's become very popular with major companies all around the world, and backs up popular services such as Microsoft Azure Search, Wordpress.com, and parts of the Stack Exchange sites. For our purposes however, we're going to use it solely as the back-end repository for our logging and monitoring infrastructure. Let's talk about what we're going to cover in this course. Today, you will be playing the role of DevOps or IT manager at the Globomantics Corporation

  1. Basic understanding of linux/unix system concepts
  2. Familiarity with Command Line Interface (CLI)
  3. Familiarity with a Text Editor
  4. Experience with managing systems/applications/infrastructure or with deployments/automation
