Designs, authors, tests, documents and debugs application packages according to customer standards, policies and procedures
• Creates documentation on all packaging work.
• Assists Software Engineers with complex problems
• Follows standard practices and procedures
• Duties and tasks are routine and standardized
• Packages medium / complex complexity applications
• Manages work tasks with limited input from senior engineers
Good understanding of Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Win2K, XP, Vista)
• Good Analytical Problem Solving Skills
• Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively / multitask
• Basic Scripting Knowledge (Batch, VB, Wise)
• Good understanding of Windows Installer Technologies and Microsoft-defined best practices (Wise, Installshield)
• Awareness of Application Compatibility & Virtualization Technologies (E.g. AppV, ThinApp)
