Job Alert: Build & Release Engineer Openings with US MNC @ Bangalore

Role : Build & Release Engineer
Exp : 4-8Yrs

Description: This position is for a Release Engineer located in our
new Bangalore India development center. You will be responsible for configuration management, software builds, version control system maintenance, and releases. This will require partnering and communicating with Development, QA, Operations and other groups.

You will also be responsible for documenting and implementing procedures related to builds and deployments. You will create and maintain automated builds, integrate build/test/release processes and control deployments to multiple environments. There will be a strong emphasis on maintaining branches, supporting parallel development, and tracking all changes within multiple branches. You will interface extensively with
your peers in OUR CLIENT locations worldwide.

Qualifications:
Experience in software engineering methodologies, release
engineering and/or configuration management in any SCM Tool. Perforce experience would be helpful.
Experience building applications for deployment on Windows, Mac,
and Unix systems.
Experience with common build tools - Ant, make, maven and
scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Java (ant/maven),
Familiarity with common UNIX distributions
(Linux/Solaris/HPUX/AIX).
Experience deploying and maintaining open source tools (Maven,
Tinderbox, Bugzilla, Apache, etc) would be helpful.
Candidates must be self-motivated, flexible, and have good
communication skills.
Candidates should be creative problem solvers with a passion for
technology.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in an applicable
field (or equivalent work experience). Recent college graduates with exposure to software development are invited to apply.
