Currently we are having an opening for CM/ Build Engineer in Pune.
Following are the details of the requirement: -

Our client is one of the leading IT company.

Designation : CM/ Build Engineer
Location : Pune
Experience : 2-5yrs
Education : Graduate (Computer/ Engineering)

Technical Skills:
· Strong scripting background like 4NT, Perl, Python on Windows/Linux
· Building Visual studio projects, make, nmake and ANT knowledge is a must
· Programming knowledge on C++, Java, C# (all .Net) is preferred
· Knowledge of CM build environments, mainly Perforce, SVN, and CVS, including integration of scripts
· Understanding of Pseudo localization concepts (desired)
· Understanding of Code signing process and security certificates
· Basic I18N knowledge, like Locales - LCID, dynamic linking of resource DLLs, etc.
· Exposure to InstallShield - MSI, WIX localization and installers etc.

Responsibilities:
· Work with CM teams to understand their CM process
· Understand CM Build Environments
· Get familiar with internal pseudo localization tools and use these consistently across all the projects
· Own & Propose Pseudo build designs for all projects and integration points to the Base CM build process
· Build prototypes and demonstrate integration benefits
· Test internally and share the results with Base team
· Integrate scripts into the Base CM build system
· Maintain existing scripts for various projects as needed
· Bundle DLLs and LOC files into specific locale directories
· Run the code signing tools on the pseudo localized resource files
· Package everything as it is in the base product build
· Run build to verify if working properly in a specific locale environment
· Upload the build to a central location
· Build automation for all these activities (research)
