RBS is currently looking at professionals for

Position: Analyst – Release & Environment Management
Years of Experience: 4 to 6 years

Applicants will ideally be 4-6 years experience with a background in Builds, Environments handling, and Deployment Process. Windows scripting knowledge is must. Applicant should have exposure to RDBMS, Autosys. Should have experience in configuration management related activities.

Required Skills:

* Sound knowledge of Autosys, UNIX, ANT/Shell Scripting.
* Experience in investment banking systems and/or Financial Systems
* Must have experience in build and release related activities and Automation of such activities
* Should have good knowledge of any RDBMS
* Experience in Configuration Management related activities (SVN, TFS, CVS, Clearcase)
* Must have experience in build tools like Continuous Integration - Cruise Control, Maven etc…
* Exposure to Version Controlling systems

Key responsibilities will include:

* Configuration Management related activities (Global Source Code Control Management)
* Responsible for Managing testing environments
* Day to Day Release activities on different environments
* Carry out regular operational checks for all the testing environments to ensure that scheduled
* Supporting Development, Testing teams for release and environments related issues.
* Handling Environments
* Sound knowledge of configuring Autosys jobs
* Writing Scripts in ANT or shell scripts as and when required
