To prevent this, you can adjust the settings on both the client and server sides to keep the connection alive. Here are the steps to configure these settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On the SSH Client Side<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Modify SSH Config File<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Edit the SSH client configuration file, typically located at <code>~\/.ssh\/config<\/code>. If the file does not exist, you can create it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the following lines to the configuration file to enable keep-alive packets: <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Host *\n    ServerAliveInterval 60\n    ServerAliveCountMax 5<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>ServerAliveInterval<\/strong>: This setting specifies the interval (in seconds) between keep-alive messages sent to the server. Setting it to 60 seconds means the client will send a keep-alive message every 60 seconds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ServerAliveCountMax<\/strong>: This setting specifies the number of keep-alive messages that can be sent without receiving a response from the server before the client disconnects.
