An end tag always matches a start tag, except that it has an extra forward slash after the opening angle bracket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>&lt;h1> A heading &lt;\/h1><\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">tag type:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Container Tag <\/strong>\u2013 Which has opening and closing Tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ex-<\/strong><br><code><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">&lt;html> \u2026\u2026. &lt;\/html><br>&lt;head> \u2026\u2026. &lt;\/head><br>&lt;body> \u2026\u2026. &lt;\/body>\u000b<\/span><\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Empty Tag<\/strong> \u2013 which has only opening tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ex: &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">&lt;br>\r\n&lt;area>\r\n&lt;base>\r\n&lt;hr>\r\n&lt;img>\r\n&lt;input><\/span><\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Element<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The combination of a start and end tags define an element.
