{"id":899,"date":"2017-12-02T05:51:07","date_gmt":"2017-12-02T05:51:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scmgalaxy.com\/tutorials\/?p=899"},"modified":"2021-02-27T09:36:17","modified_gmt":"2021-02-27T09:36:17","slug":"office-2010-sharepoint-2010-come-out-on-may-12th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scmgalaxy.com\/tutorials\/office-2010-sharepoint-2010-come-out-on-may-12th\/","title":{"rendered":"Office 2010 &#038; Sharepoint 2010 Come Out On May 12th"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>pgadmin created the topic: Reminder : Office 2010 &#038; Sharepoint 2010 Come Out On May 12th<\/strong><br \/>\nThere will be seven versions of Office 2010 with the Home and Business which offers the four main business applications, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook, and replaces Office Basic 2007 being our firm favourite.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft will be officially launching the fourteenth version of Office, known as Office 2010, as well as Sharepoint 2010 on Wednesday 12th with businesses being the first to receive the update.<\/p>\n<p>Other customers will be able to buy Office 2010 in the second half of next month when Microsoft&#8217;s flagship business product is shipped.<\/p>\n<p>There will be seven versions of Office 2010 with the Home and Business which offers the four main business applications, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook, and replaces Office Basic 2007 being our firm favourite.<\/p>\n<p>Volume Edition versions will also get an Office Customisation tool (OCT) which will allow the installation of Office 2010 to be customised by creating a Windows Installer Patch.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft Office 2010 will come with a web-based companion called Office Web, which will be a series of applications for Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote which will offer you access from any mainstream browsers to any Microsoft Office file uploaded.<\/p>\n<p>You can hear from Gordon Frazer and Scott Dodds from Microsoft UK on 12th May from 3pm BST.
