error: The following untracked working tree files would be overwritten by merge
Solution
Check 1
Check the file permisson of the files/directories under /usr/local/homebrew if owner of them of them are root user?
To Fix the persmission issues –
> chown -R $(whoami) /usr/local
Check 2 –
Then go to your terminal and run these commands…
> cd /usr/local
> git reset –hard FETCH_HEAD
> git checkout Library
> brew update
