Adding users to svn
Add a user to the file /etc/subversion/svn-authz, then give that user a password as described below.
A suitable command could be
sudo vim /etc/subversion/svn-authz
or
sudo emacs /etc/subversion/svn-authz.
Adding or changing password for a user
sudo htpasswd -m /etc/subversion/svn-auth-file sally
New password: *******
Re-type new password: *******
Adding password for user sally
